As many of you know, John Mancini, President AIIM authors a blog called Digital Landfill. John is also on Twitter and earlier this week, I noticed a Tweet from him, inviting people to be a guest author on his blog. John’s idea was to have a series of guests all write about “8 things you should know about…”.
My post is “8 Things Vendors Need To Know About Selling Document Management to Small Businesses” and it came from an idea I had for this blog. A lot of the vendors in the ECM, DM and just plain technology space seem uncomfortable or unprepared to deal with small businesses – even the ones who are currently courting SMBs. It wasn’t hard to find eight things to tell them.
